As our Podiatrist, you will be responsible for prevention, diagnoses, treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders of the feet and lower limbs. This incorporates assessing and reviewing client function, safety, and independence to participate in life tasks in the community. This max term 9-month maternity contract and will offer 0.6 FTE part time hours.
You'll Also Make An Impact By
Providing comprehensive and contemporary, evidence-based podiatry services to clients in accordance with each client's individual needs, barriers, and interests in a community setting
Actively promoting a wellness and re-enablement approach to engage and motivate clients in their goal planning
Promoting open and responsive feedback to monitor and evaluate client satisfaction via the Helping Hand client feedback and engagement processes
Liaising with other staff in prioritizing services to clients and liaise with care and clinical staff as required
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A current AHPRA registration
Minimum one years' experience is preferable Demonstrated experience providing podiatry services to adult clients in in a clinical setting
Experience in assessing and evaluating functional needs of clients and supervising staff involved in the provision of podiatry services
Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and the ability to be cross culturally sensitiveA current CPR/First Aid certificateA valid driver's licence
Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
Experience in the aged care sectorExperience in the provision of clinical education or other tertiary provision of education (e.g. tutoring, lecturing, mentor)
