We are looking for an experienced Practice Administrator / Receptionist to become a valued long-term member of our team.
Our administration team are at the heart of our clinic. They are often the first friendly voice our clients hear and play a vital role in supporting both our clients and clinicians. We genuinely look after one another, celebrate each other's successes and support each other through the busy days.

About Us
Inner Light Allied Health is a neurodiversity-affirming allied health clinic based in Kilsyth. We provide psychology, occupational therapy and speech pathology services to children, adolescents and adults.

About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position with regular weekday shifts during our clinic hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm), with opportunities for additional hours as the clinic grows.
No two days are exactly the same. Responsibilities include:
Welcoming clients and families to the clinic.
Answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries.
Managing clinician diaries and appointment scheduling using Halaxy.
Triaging enquiries and connecting clients with the most appropriate clinician.
Processing invoices, payments and Medicare claims.
Supporting NDIS, Medicare and privately funded clients with administrative enquiries.
Liaising with psychologists and allied health clinicians.
Preparing correspondence to GPs and other health professionals.
Scanning, filing and maintaining confidential client records.
Helping create a calm, organised clinic environment where clients feel welcomed and clinicians are well supported.
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Experience We Are Looking For
Previous experience in allied health or medical reception/administration is highly preferred but not essential.
While previous experience is highly regarded, we are happy to provide training for the right person who is a strong fit for our team and culture.
The following experience will also be highly regarded:
Halaxy practice management software (or similar)
Medicare claiming and referral processes
NDIS administration and funding processes
Client booking and practice management systems
Google Workspace
Microsoft Office
Essential Requirements
Current Working with Children Check
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Eligibility to work in Australia
