What does a typical day look like?
You'll normally start your day from our Kelso depot around
7:15am
.
The team loads equipment, completes any final preparation, and heads to the day's first job.
Some days you'll spend the entire day at one large commercial site, other days you may complete several small residential jobs across Townsville. Those days are outstanding for lunch on the beach.
Depending on the schedule, you could be:
Soft washing a home.
Cleaning a tiled or Colorbond roof.
Pressure washing driveways and paths.
Cleaning shopping centre car parks before/after trading hours.
Working alongside other contractors on larger commercial projects.
Restoring concrete around pools and entertainment areas.
Cleaning industrial buildings.
Washing building facades.
Cleaning solar panels.
Performing equipment maintenance and preparation.
No two days are exactly alike, which is one of the things our team enjoys most.
This is a physical job, but not just brute strength.




You'll spend most of your day on your feet.
You'll be outside in Townsville's climate.
You'll climb ladders.

You'll move equipment around job sites.
You'll occasionally lift hoses and accessories.
That being said, we invest heavily in equipment that reduces unnecessary physical strain. We actually believe that the easier we can make a task, the better.
Where machinery can replace manual labour, we generally choose machinery.

Training
You don't need pressure washing experience.
Seriously.
Some of the best people in this industry started with absolutely none.
We're much more interested in hiring someone with the right attitude than someone who thinks they already know everything.
From day one you'll begin learning:

You'll work around customers, traffic and occupied properties.

We'll provide the equipment.
We'll provide the training.
We'll pay for relevant certifications.

Pay and career progression
This is a
full-time position
.
Applicants new to the industry will generally commence on
$30 per hour
.
As your skills develop and you begin leading jobs independently, there is a genuine pathway to become a
Team Leader earning $40 per hour
.
For the right person, that progression can happen surprisingly quickly.
We're interested in building leaders, not just churning employees.
As the business continues growing, there will be increasing opportunities for people who demonstrate leadership, professionalism and reliability.
There isn't a ceiling here. In theory you could end up managing a location.
Your growth will largely depend on your attitude, capability and willingness to take responsibility.
Hours
Typical hours are:
7:15am–3:15pm Monday to Friday
There are also opportunities for overtime, weekend work and occasional night work depending on our workload.
These additional hours are available but are
not mandatory

What you'll need

Current driver's licence (manual preferred but not essential)

A Working With Children Check will be required after employment. You don't need to obtain one before applying.
