LIFE IN THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and organised
Casual Public Relations Coordinator
to support the delivery of PR campaigns, media relations, influencerengagementand race day publicity activities.
This is an ideal opportunity for a final-year student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sporting, lifestyle and events environment.
ABOUT YOU
Essential
Currently completing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute
Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends during key campaign periods and race days
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Relations
Draft and distribute media releases, mediaalertsand supporting materials
Assistwith the coordination of publicity activity before, during and after race meetings
Maintain media databases and respond to journalist enquiries
Coordinate media accreditation andassistwith the operation of media facilities on race days.
Campaign Support
Support the planning and delivery of integrated public relations campaigns.
Prepare campaign documents, briefing notes, runsheetsand presentations.
Provide administrative and logistical support throughout campaign delivery.
Talent and Influencer Relations
Prepare talent briefs, schedules, runsheetsand event documentation.
Coordinate talent and influencerlogisticsacross media opportunities,eventsand race days.
Assistwith the delivery of editorial and publicity photoshoots
Coordinate styling, hair and makeup requirements for race days,eventsand editorial engagements
Coordinate gifting, guest lists,transportand other talent requirements.
Events and Publicity
Assistwith the delivery of media launches, publicityeventsand race-day activations.
Coordinate RSVPs and guest communications.
Provide on-the-ground support for talent,mediaand guests at events and race meetings.
Reporting and Administration
Raise purchase orders andassistwith budget tracking and administration.
Maintain digital asset libraries and campaign records.
Compile campaignreports and contribute to post-campaign evaluations.
