Service Owner
Contract: 6-Month Contract
Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid Working)
This role will play a critical part in defining and uplifting testing operations, governance frameworks, operating models and enterprise delivery practices across complex technology environments. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, SMEs and delivery teams to establish clear processes, controls, accountabilities and target-state ways of working that enable successful and auditable delivery outcomes.

Solid practical skills and experience in data platform delivery on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP technologies.
Solid understanding of data governance and program governance in a large corporate setting.

Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities.

You take a collaborative approach to work and have excellent stakeholder management skills.
Solid experience in an Agile environment, leading distributed teams and working with people covering a diverse range of styles, personalities, skills, and experiences.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Exposure (or a genuine interest) in data technologies.
Familiarity and keen interest in the latest developments in the world of data and AI.
The Successful Candidate
Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a project manager,



iteration manager or scrum master in IT Consulting or other technology business units across the industry
Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience in data initiatives such as data Governance, modernisation, migration, governance, reporting, analytics and data science
Diverse practical experience in project delivery frameworks such as Scaled Agile, Distributed Agile, Agile Sprints, Kanban, Waterfall etc
Skills include Project Planning, Budgeting, Performance Management, Scheduling, Staffing, PM Methods, Performance Management, Scope Management, Contractual Deliverables, Change Control and Risk Management
Solid Understanding of various data professional roles and responsibilities
Understanding of concepts of business-critical design, services sensitive to performance SLAs with high availability, fault-tolerance, automatic fail-over and geographical redundancy
Experience delivering projects based on Cloud Platform such as Azure, AWS, GCP and IBM and other modern data platforms
Understanding of containerisation, virtualisation, infrastructure and networking
Understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies
Experience in presenting to and influencing stakeholders and senior managers
Experience in Banking is required.
