We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team and support our Pacific business, based in our brand new, modern warehouse in South Granville, Sydney (with in office car parking).
You will be an integral member of a small team and take full ownership of Picking and Packing, Receiving and Dispatch, Inventory Management, Admin and housekeeping tasks, forklift operations and other tasks to help support our business and service our customers. You will report to the Distribution Warehouse Supervisor.
How You'll Make An Impact
Receiving
Ensure all goods are checked and received into store in good condition as per procedures
Receipt of incoming goods in ERP system ( SAP ).
Stored in proper storage condition
Given/ notified to appropriate person
Dispatch
Accuracy in picking in accordance with location, catalogue numbers, lot numbers, serial number & quantity.
Accuracy in pick/pack according to warehouse order on RF scanner.
Quality control of items before packing.
Dangerous goods packed to comply with IATA/Road transport Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations.
Liaise with freight forwarders and transport companies as needed.
Ensure all Cartons/boxes are label correctly and moved to pallet as required
All DG declarations match the product being shipped.
Inventory
All products to be checked for expiry dates and once expired disposed of in line with procedures.
Conduct stock takes & cyclical counts when required.
Administration functions
Arrange specialized freight as required.
Assist customer service and/or other departments with warehouse/stock queries.
Maintain warehouse in a clean & organized state as per SOP
Ensure compliance to QA manual & processes.
Load/unload trucks / couriers.
What You Bring:
Computer literacy,
Good written and oral communications,
Accuracy & eye for detail,
Team player,
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle pressure & strong work ethic.
Knowledge of and compliance with Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
Current IATA DG Accreditation
S.C or equivalent
Three years' experience in pick/packing in similar industry.
Familiar with warehouse operations.
Ability to operate forklift.
