Yard Hands
to join our brand-new facility in
Thornton

About the Role
As a Yard Hand, you are essential to the daily flow of our business. You'll be supporting both our trade customers and our mill operations, ensuring orders are accurate and the yard is safe and organized.
Your daily tasks will include:
Loading & Unloading:
Using a forklift to safely handle raw timber and finished products from trucks and delivery vehicles.
Order Picking:
Accurately selecting and preparing timber orders for our trade and retail customers.
Mill Support:
Assisting our Machinists by moving materials and keeping production areas clear.
Inventory Care:
Helping to organize stock and maintain a clean, professional yard environment.
Safety First:




Following all WHS protocols and ensuring you and your teammates stay secure on the job.
About You
You're the kind of person who shows initiative and works autonomously. You see a job that needs doing and you jump in.
Physically Fit:
This is a hands-on role that involves heavy lifting and being on your feet.
Reliable:
You're someone we can count on to be there and ready to work every day.
Team Player:
You enjoy working with others and have a positive, helpful attitude.
Experience:
Previous experience in a timber yard, hardware store, or warehouse is a major plus.
Licensed:
A current and valid
Forklift (LF) License
or
Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
is a must have. .
