Perioperative Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout – Plastics/ Ortho/ Neuro
Applicants must have recent experience in Scrub Scout roles, with exposure to Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and/or Orthopaedic surgery. Experience across multiple specialties will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care
Scrub and scout across a range of surgical specialties
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider perioperative team
Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Act as a role model for professional practice and compliance with safety standards
Support patient education related to surgical care and recovery
Essential Criteria
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative / scrub scout setting
Demonstrated experience in Neurosurgery, Plastics and/or Orthopaedics
Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to high-quality patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-functioning team
Desirable Criteria
Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing (or currently working towards)
