Auto Electrician – Truck Electrical & Air Conditioning
Welshpool Location
$55–$60 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-time - Weekly OT
The opportunity:
Our client is currently looking for skilled and dedicated Auto Electrician to join their installation team at their Welshpool workshop. Our client installs, welds and commissions various items in truck cabs - ranging but not limited to batteries, cooling systems and compressors to name a few.
The role will suit someone who is proficient with hand and power tools and has sound electrical and mechanical aptitude. Previous experience with trucks or vehicles will be looked upon favourably.
About the Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
Installing auxiliary air conditioning units on trucks
Wiring and fitting bull bars
Installing inverters and microwaves
Diagnosing and repairing auto electrical faults
Servicing and repairing truck air conditioning systems




General auto electrical work on a variety of trucks

Who We're Looking For
To be successful, you will have:
Qualified Auto Electrician
Experience with automotive air conditioning systems (desired)
Experience working on trucks or commercial vehicles (preferred)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
