Horizon West Landscape Constructions is a family owned and operated commercial landscape construction and maintenance company based in Casuarina WA. The company boasts s staff capacity in excess of 75 personnel operatingacross the Perth Metropolitan area.
Horizon West is seeking the services of an experienced machine operator (Skid/Posi/Articulated Loader/Excavator) for landscape construction work not limited to -
Operation of various types of heavy plant & bulk earthmoving equipment in a landscape setting.
Final trim landscape surface preparation for hard and soft landscaping works.
Carting, loading and spreading bulk soil and mulch materials.
Basic survey set out
General preventative maintenance of a truck, trailer and earthmoving equipment including maintenance reporting.
Candidates will work across a range of various landscape construction projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
The role will be on a full time basis based out of our Casuarina depot.
Formal "Operator Competency Certification" not necessarily required but candidates must be able to verify competency or demonstrate sound operation of equipment in similar settings.




Strict 6 Month Probationary Period. Own transport to and from our depot. This role requires flexibility in daily work hours to deliver "high end" landscape contracts.
HR driver's license held for minimum 1 year. HC licence highly regarded.
Previous experience in landscape construction highly regarded.
Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility at work.
Ability to interpret construction drawings.
Australian Permanent resident.
Proven machine operators experience with minimum 2 year's operating experience.
Current Construction Industry White Card.
Police Clearance.
Must be able to pass a full medical including drug and alcohol.
High level of commitment to safe work practices.
Work within the team to ensure landscape construction works are delivered to a high quality and efficiently.
Salary (Perth Metro based 100hours/fortnight average) is calculated on skill set, qualifications, and prior experience and is inclusive of daily paid overtime calculated cumulatively at 24hours per fortnight.
