Coldstream Primary School OSHC and Early Years is growing, and we are looking for passionate, experienced and committed educators to join our team.
We are currently seeking:
1 x Assistant Director for a 10-month maternity leave position, with the potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate.
2 x Full-Time Early Childhood Educators to join our Early Years, Kindergarten and OSHC programs.
We may also have opportunities available for part-time and casual educators.
Our Service supports children aged 0-12 years across our Early Years, funded 3- and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten and OSHC programs.
Assistant Director - 10-Month Maternity Leave Position
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our leadership team for a 10-month maternity leave position.
Working closely with the Service Manager and leadership team, the Assistant Director will support the day-to-day operation of the Service and provide leadership, guidance and support to the education and care team.
This role will suit an experienced Assistant Director or an experienced Diploma-qualified educator ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
The Assistant Director will support:
The day-to-day operation and coordination of the Service.
The leadership, mentoring and support of educators.
High-quality educational practice across the Service.
The implementation of Service policies, procedures and expectations.
Compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards.
Positive relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community.
A positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
Full-Time Early Childhood Educators
We are seeking two passionate and experienced full-time Early Childhood Educators to join our team.
Our educators work across our Early Years, funded 3- and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten and OSHC programs, depending on their qualifications, experience and the needs of the Service.
Successful applicants will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and care while supporting the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of each child.




We are looking for educators who are passionate about their work, committed to child safety and wellbeing, and who value teamwork, professionalism and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your role and qualifications, your responsibilities may include:
Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
Observing and documenting children's development and progress.
Using knowledge of children to inform curriculum planning.
Creating safe, nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environments.
Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Early Years, Kindergarten and OSHC.
Supporting children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Participating in professional development and reflective practice.
Following all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
Maintaining a strong commitment to child safety.
What We're Looking For
Assistant Director
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated experience in an early childhood education and care leadership role.
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy.
The ability to lead, mentor and support a team of educators.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A team-oriented, professional and positive approach to leadership.
Full-Time Educators
A relevant Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.




Diploma-qualified educators are highly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience working in an early childhood education and care environment.
A strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
Required for All Positions
Current First Aid qualification.
Current CPR qualification.
Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
Valid Working with Children Check.
A strong understanding of and commitment to child safety.
