Northern Healthcare Volunteer Association (NHVA)
is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Volunteer Coordinator
to join our team and help lead one of South Australia's largest and most diverse hospital volunteer programs.
The Volunteer Coordinator is accountable to the Director of Volunteer Operations and Services, for effective and efficient day-to-day coordination of Volunteers at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, James Nash House and Northgate.(Northern Adelaide Local Health Network)
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, training, rostering, mentoring, and maintenance of up-to-date training and screening of Volunteers, including reporting on key performance indicators and implementation of work instructions.
This is a
part-time position (0.8 FTE)
worked over five days per week:
Three days:
8.30 am – 1.30 pm
Two days:
8.30 am – 4.30 pm
The position is based across NHVA's offices at
Lyell McEwin Hospital
and
Modbury Hospital
.
Working collaboratively with two other Volunteer Coordinators, you will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of high-quality volunteer services that enhance the patient experience and support hospital staff.

Experience coordinating people, projects, volunteers or community programs.

A commitment to professionalism, compliance and high-quality customer service.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team.
Experience with
Microsoft Office (including basic Excel), Canva and social media
would be highly regarded, or a willingness to learn with on-the-job training provided.
Commencing as a contract, the successful applicant will have the chance to increase to full-time hours and higher responsibilities when the need arises.
