About the Role
As our Retail Area Manager, you'll partner closely with Store Managers to build engaged, high-performing teams across your region.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll spend time in stores coaching leaders, driving commercial performance and ensuring every customer experiences the very best of Koko Black.
You'll balance strategic thinking with operational excellence, empowering your teams to achieve results while creating an exceptional culture.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead, coach and develop a portfolio of Store Managers and leadership teams
Recruit, develop and retain exceptional retail talent
Drive sales performance and commercial outcomes across your region
Foster a customer‐first culture that delivers premium service and memorable experiences
Support leaders through coaching, feedback and capability development




Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results
Drive operational excellence, visual merchandising and compliance across all stores
Partner with cross‐functional teams to successfully implement business initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while managing costs and resources effectively
Lead by example, creating an engaged, collaborative and high-performing team culture
About You
Multi‐site retail leadership experience, ideally across premium retail, hospitality or customer‐focused environments
A proven ability to coach, develop and inspire leaders to achieve their potential
Robust commercial acumen with experience driving sales, productivity and profitability
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Confidence making decisions in a fast‐paced and evolving retail environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
A collaborative leadership style built on trust, accountability and continuous improvement
Flexibility to travel regularly across your region
