The Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team at Gisborne Oaks, our residential aged care home in Gisborne, home to 75 residents.
This is a full-time, maximum-term position working standard business hours from 17 August **** until 30 June ****.
In this role, you will:
Provide excellent, resident-focused care, including the management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications
Complete resident assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation, care plans and incident records
Oversee day-to-day clinical care activities to support the best possible outcomes for residents
Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, responding to and escalating changes in their condition when required
Spend meaningful time with residents, building connections, sharing stories and demonstrating genuine empathy
Provide guidance and support to Personal Care Workers, Enrolled Nurses and other members of the care team
Work collaboratively with residents, families, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders
Contribute to a safe,



respectful and person-centred environment
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Experience working as a Registered Nurse, ideally within residential aged care
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Division 1
An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or the ability to obtain one
A strong understanding of the aged care legislative and regulatory framework, including safe medication administration
Sound clinical judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emerging issues
The ability to treat residents and others with empathy, dignity and respect
A collaborative approach to working with residents, families, colleagues and other stakeholders
A high level of accountability and commitment to delivering protected, high-quality care
A friendly, positive attitude and demonstrated resident-focused approach
