The Medical Oncology Department at the Royal Hobart Hospital is recruiting for suitable Advanced Trainee for ****.

The position would also suit trainees in palliative medicine & general medicine - potentially meeting accredited core training in Medical Oncology.

Salary

$138,978 - $194,675 per annum

Salary range is in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Agreement ****

Classification

Medical Practitioner Level 5-11 (Registrar/Senior Registrar)

Award

Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award

Period of Employment

Fixed term, full time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight (+10 hours protected training time per fortnight, pro rata), commencing from 1 February **** until 7 February ****.

Note, part time hours negotiable.

Duties

The Registrar is responsible for the day to day management of public inpatients and outpatients within the Royal Hobart Hospital and provides first on call cover for the Medical Oncology unit. Required to do infrequent shifts covering the emergency met calls at the hospital.

Essential Requirements

Registration or eligible for Registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaCurrent Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
