Adelaide Institute of Business & Technology (AIBT) currently seeks suitably qualified VET Trainers & Assessors to deliver and develop its growing suite of ICT qualifications.
Trainer & Assessor (Certificate III in Information Technology)

The position is offered on a casual basis with a minimum engagement of 7.5 hours per week, comprising one day of training delivery each week. Additional hours may be offered based on operational requirements.
This role involves engaging and inspiring students through practical, industry-relevant training while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will be committed to helping students develop valuable digital and technology skills that prepare them for further study and future career pathways.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Current Trainer/Assessor qualification as determined by Industry Skills Council Advisory Committee (ISCAC) from time to time (current TAE*****).
Vocational qualifications that are equal to or above what is being delivered
Relevant ICT experience and industry currency in the area that is being trained and assessed
Must be willing to commit to continuous Professional Development in the areas of; Vocational qualification; Training & Assessment; Compliance with regulatory bodies; and Child Safe Environments
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Current vocational and industry experience;
Development and delivery of training & assessment resources compliant with ASQA and VQF requirements;
Validation and Moderation;
Successful proactive teamwork within a commercial setting;
Participation in successful compliance audit and continuous improvement activities
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Demonstrable high level of interpersonal skills and in relating and communicating with students, parents, school VET staff, internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrable professional manner in dealing with students, parents, schools, and stakeholders and in particular in the delivery of directives and instructions.
Demonstrated ability to interpret, clarify and communicate information at all levels and in particular to students & stakeholders;
Demonstrated ability to manage diverse workloads, online class delivery, genuinely supporting our AEG/AIBT rolling intake procedure on a weekly basis and managing this in an inclusive skilled way and meeting all enrolment timeframes, with the learning support teacher assistance;
Advanced level of IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge in using Canvas Learning Management System, Teams, and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to manage resources
