Metro Steel Fabrication WA is an Australian leader in steel fabrication and construction providing great services to the building, gas and mining industries nationwide. We are currently looking for Pipe Welders, Painting Tradesworkers, Engineering Fabricators / Welders, Metal Machinists, Sheetmetal Trades Workers, Civil Engineers, and Fitters (General) to join our team in Bibra Lake. To be considered for one of the above positions, it is essential that you possess relevant qualifications and 3+ years' experience in a similar position.

We are also seeking an experienced Draftsman/Design Draftsman to join our team.



You will be responsible for developing technical drawings based on given specifications, site measurements, laser scanned models or CAD generated drawings. The drawings will need to comply with standards. Key Responsibilities:
Ability to efficiently take accurate measurements in the field of pieces of equipment
Develop detailed technical drawings that can be used to submit to clients for cataloguing
Engage personnel on site to obtain constructive feedback on drawings
Engage with client's document control department
Be highly self-motivated to ensure there is a high level of quality control
Ensure that all drawings are reviewed and updated when additional infield information is received
Understanding of Quality Assurance documentation, ensuring that standards/specifications are incorporated to all systems and documentation
Key Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Tekla
Experience with creating drawings using AutoCad, Revit & Navisworks
Exposure to MS Word, MS Excel
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
