About the chance
As our Trades Assistant, you'll be responsible for assisting with stripping, repairing and rebuilding our range of submersible pumps. We're looking for a mechanically minded TA with a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a great work ethic.
There is the potential for significant career growth within this position for the right candidate with clear and exciting pathways for advancement.
You'll make an impact by:
Hands-on disassembling, repairing and reassembling pumps to ensure they are in optimal working condition
Documenting maintenance activities and creating reports for future reference
Assist with logistics, stores and workshop duties as required
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
Demonstrated experience in a mechanical role
A valid South Australian driver licence (or be willing to obtain one)
Have current Australian working rights
A commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organised workplace
It's not a deal breaker, but we'd also love to see some of the following:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience working with pumps (or the adaptability and willingness to learn)
