A permanent opportunity is now available for an Accounts Officer to join the finance team in a role that offers variety, autonomy, long-term stability and career progression as the company expands.
The Role
Reporting to the Director, you will take ownership of the accounts payable function while also supporting with some accounts receivable tasks, payroll and ad hoc project reporting. This is a varied and well-rounded role suited to someone who understands how finance integrates with broader projects and operational workflows within a construction environment. Currently implementing a new software system (JobPack) you will be a key member of the team, assisting with a transition from the current platform. There is genuine opportunity to shape the future of the accounts function here and therefore a creative and inquisitive mindset is key.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end accounts payable processing
Managing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments
Assisting with accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes
Liaising with internal teams (including project staff) and external suppliers
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Assisting with a smooth transition to a new software system
About You
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role (construction or similar industry highly regarded)
Exposure to accounts receivable processes
Experience with
JobPack (or similar ERP/CRM systems)
is highly desirable
Strong understanding of how accounts processes support project and business operations
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A team-focused approach with excellent communication skills
