ARG Workforce are seeking a qualified and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves the fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and components to support our production operations.
Working within a collaborative team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a solid focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, fit, and install mechanical equipment and components.
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and company procedures.
Contribute to a secure, clean, and organised workplace.
Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
About You
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
Experience in fabrication and mechanical fitting within a manufacturing environment.
Welding experience is highly desired.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Current driver's licence
Current forklift, Dogging, Working at Heights and EWP tickets.
