Work closely with leaders and operational teams, and play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive workplace through effective training systems, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures while promoting a proactive safety culture across the site.
Develop, coordinate, and monitor training systems, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with company standards and legislative requirements.
Conduct Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments to ensure employees maintain the required skills and competencies for their roles.
Carry out regular workplace inspections, task observations, and audits to verify compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Inspect, maintain, and monitor emergency equipment and systems within the underground workplace.
Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions to improve workplace safety.




Provide coaching and support to supervisors and employees on safety and training requirements.
Maintain accurate training and compliance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Cert IV Training and Assessment
Cert IV Work Health and Safet
Lead Investigator (ICAM preferred)
Current Manual Driver's license
Experience working in a mechanised hard rock underground production environment.
A strong working knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Workplace Health and Safety (Mining) Regulations.
Demonstrated experience in competency-based training and assessment.
A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Candidates must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen and be willing to provide a National Police Clearance.
