Are you an organised, people-focused receptionist who loves animals and enjoys being part of a supportive team? We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly team across our Singleton and Branxton clinics.
About us
We are a collaborative and progressive mixed veterinary practice with two clinics located in Singleton and Branxton in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. Singleton is approximately two hours from Sydney and just over an hour from the Newcastle coastline. Branxton Veterinary Hospital complements our established Singleton clinic, with both locations operating together as one connected practice. Our veterinarians work across both sites, sharing knowledge, support, resources and clinical expertise.

About the position
We are looking for a warm, personable and detail-oriented veterinary receptionist to be the friendly face and initial point of contact for our busy clinics. Key responsibilities include:
Deliver friendly, professional customer service over the phone and in person
Welcome clients and their pets to the clinic and help create a calm, positive first impression
Coordinate appointments and manage schedules for the clinical team
Liaise with veterinarians and veterinary nurses to support the smooth running of each day
Process invoices and payments accurately
Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception and waiting area
About you
This position would be well-suited to someone with a veterinary background, who thrives in a busy environment and works well as part of a close-knit team.
You are friendly, caring and confident communicating with a wide range of clients
You have at least two years' experience in a customer service or reception role
Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment is highly regarded
Flexibility to work over a range of shift days and times across both clinic locations
You have a genuine affinity for animals and are passionate about delivering a positive client experience
You can stay calm and professional during busy periods or more challenging conversations
You are organised, able to multitask, and have strong attention to detail
