We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Sports Administration to join our high school sports department on a permanent part-time (20 hours per week) basis.
The Sport Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of Moriah College's dynamic and inclusive sports program by providing efficient administrative, operational, and logistical coordination. Working collaboratively with staff, coaches, students, parents, and external sporting organisations, the role ensures that all sporting activities are well planned, safe, and aligned with the College's commitment to educational excellence, student wellbeing, and Jewish values.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Event organisation including: Venue booking, liaising with Academic Office for award ceremonies term by term and working closely with maintenance and facilities team.
Processing payments and invoices including using Promaster to submit receipts.
Sending out online permission notes and excursion emails and reminders to staff, students and parents.
Organise/arrange bus license for new sport staff as required.
Assist with organising interstate & other sporting events including booking flights, accommodation, catering, and bus rental.
Book venues for events throughout the year such as carnivals, Year 7 & 8 grade sport, every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Update the Sport Google calendar and College wide calendar as required,



whilst working with stakeholders such as Academic Office & Calendar committee.
Assist with catering orders and delivery for events.
Create signage as needed.
Student reporting, including uploading of information into student school reports. Including but not limited to programs and team involvement, representative pathway involvement.
Skills and Experience
Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in the sporting industry.
A valid Working with Children Check.
Excellent time management and organisation skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to use initiative and common sense.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Strong computer literacy skills including MS Office.
Friendly, personable, and compassionate.
