About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to embark on a Turf ManagementApprenticeship, focusing on the preparation and maintenance of cricket wickets.Under the guidance of the Crew Leader Turf Wickets and experienced Turf WicketCurators, you'll gain hands-on experience while pursuing a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
Key Responsibilities
Assistin preparing and maintaining turf wickets and practice facilities to thehighest standards.
Identifyand manage turf pests and diseases.




Implementcontemporary turf management and irrigation practices.
Ensurecompliance with safety protocols and maintenance of equipment.
Maintainaccurate records related to turf management activities.
Participatein training across various horticultural disciplines.
About you
Tobe successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge andunderstanding of the following:
Agenuine interest in turf maintenance and a commitment to completing a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
Priorexperience in related fields is advantageous but not essential.
CurrentVictorian driver's licence (required prior to commencement).
Abilityto work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively withcolleagues and the public.
Willingnessto engage in both on-the-job training and formal education components ofthe apprenticeship.

You may be required toundertake practicaltesting, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacityassessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
The successfulcandidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and willbe asked toconsent to a national policecheck (and where relevant an 'international criminal history check'), subjectto the operation of spent conviction laws.
