Welders, Fabricators, Welder
to join our team.
The Ideal Candidate for the roles advertised above will be responsible for:
Welders
Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding and cutting to specification.
Read and interpret basic drawings and welding instructions.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate consumables.
Perform welding tasks.
Inspect surfaces and ensure readiness for fabrication or welding.
Assembling metal parts using welding, bolting, or riveting methods.
Conducting inspections and quality checks on completed work.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhering to safety procedures, following safety guidelines, and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
Assist senior welders and fabricators as required.
Collaborating with engineers, designers, or other team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
Boilermaker
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components and metalwork
Perform welding using MIG welding processes
Cut, shape, grind, and finish metal materials using hand and power tools
Operate workshop machinery including guillotines, presses, drills, grinders, and saws
Carry out repairs, modifications, and maintenance on steel structures and equipment
Conduct fit-up and alignment of fabricated components prior to welding
Ensure all fabrication work meets quality standards and project specifications
Inspect welds and completed work for accuracy, strength, and compliance
Work closely with supervisors, welders, and workshop teams to meet production deadlines
Follow production schedules, and manufacturing instructions
Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of steel materials and finished products
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
Comply with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and safe work procedures
Wear and maintain appropriate PPE and safety equipment
Report hazards, damaged equipment, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately
Support apprentices and junior team members when required
Ensure efficient use of materials to minimise waste and improve productivity
Meet daily production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Perform occasional onsite installation and repair work if required
Contribute positively to team culture and uphold company values and standards
Qualification & Experience
Relevant trade qualification in Engineering, Fabrication or Welding.
Minimum experience in a Manufacturing, Fabrication and Workshop Environment.
Demonstrate ability to read and interpret basic to complex drawings.
Experience in using hand tools and workshop machinery.
White Card (Construction Induction) would be added as an advantage.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
