You're a trade qualified Auto Electrician who knows heavy mobile equipment inside out. You're comfortable working in a mining environment, you take fault finding seriously, and you don't need someone looking over your shoulder to get the job done right. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Diagnose and repair electrical faults across heavy mobile equipment including machine electronics, wiring and harness systems, batteries, and charging systems
Use diagnostic software and trade tooling to identify root causes and complete repairs to full operational standard
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and fault findings in line with site documentation requirements
Participate in pre-start checks, planned maintenance activities, and breakdown response according to site schedules and priorities
Communicate equipment condition clearly to the broader maintenance team and escalate issues that fall outside trade scope or require additional authorisation
Support a disciplined, safety focused crew through consistent attendance, explicit communication, and reliable follow-through
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology or a recognised equivalent
Demonstrated experience on heavy mobile equipment electrical systems in mining or heavy industry
Current Queensland High Risk Work Licence including Working at Heights, LF Forklift, and EWP tickets, or a confirmed plan to close any gap within the first three months
Current minimum C class driver's licence
Full working rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available.
