We're looking for an experienced and passionate
Restaurant Manager

What You'll Be Doing
Coaching, mentoring and developing supervisors and front-of-house team members to achieve their full potential.
Delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of service and professionally resolving guest feedback.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and company policies.
Leading the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient and consistent service delivery.
Leading by example with professionalism, accountability, energy and a hands-on leadership approach.
Maintaining exceptional venue presentation, cleanliness and operational standards at all times.
Managing reservations, floor plans and service flow to maximise both guest experience and operational efficiency.
Monitoring labour costs, sales performance and operational efficiencies to achieve financial objectives.
Preparing and managing team rosters in line with business demands,



productivity targets and labour budgets.
Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and leadership team to deliver exceptional food, beverage and hospitality experiences.
What We're Looking For
A hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, leads by example and inspires their team to deliver exceptional hospitality every shift.
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing hospitality teams while creating a positive and accountable workplace culture.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, team members and fellow leaders.
High attention to detail with a passion for delivering consistently outstanding guest experiences.
Proven experience managing labour costs, rosters, productivity targets and the day-to-day operation of a busy restaurant.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and profitability.
Confidence making decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands.




A thorough understanding of food safety, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety legislation.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
Approved Manager Certification, or willingness to obtain.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
A genuine passion for hospitality, leadership and developing people, with a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of The Breakwater.
