Tokyo Motorsports is one of Australia's leading Japanese performance workshops, specialising in Subaru, Mitsubishi Evolution, Toyota GR, Nissan and other high-performance vehicles.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to help build the online presence of
Tokyo Motorsports
and two other Automotive brands.
This is a hands-on role combining
content creation, marketing, brand development and marketing planning
. You'll work closely with the business to develop ideas, create engaging content, and help shape the future direction of our brands.
About the Role
You'll spend time in the workshop capturing engine builds, dyno tuning, customer vehicles and behind-the-scenes activity, then turn that into engaging content across our digital platforms.
Just as importantly, you'll help develop marketing initiatives, contribute ideas, plan campaigns and assist with the ongoing development of our brands.
This is primarily an on-site role based at our Welshpool workshop. Being present in the workshop is essential, as much of the content is created around day-to-day projects, customer vehicles and team activities.
This is not simply a social media role. We're looking for someone who enjoys thinking creatively, contributing ideas and taking ownership of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Film and edit engaging short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Produce longer-form YouTube content.
Capture photography throughout the workshop.
Create social media posts, captions and supporting graphics.
Plan and schedule content across multiple platforms.
Develop monthly content calendars.
Assist with marketing planning and campaign development.




Create and distribute EDM campaigns using Mailchimp.
Assist with website content and merchandise and promotional material.
Assist with organising promotional events and car meets.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Contribute ideas to strengthen and grow our brands.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines creativity with initiative.
You should have experience creating digital content, enjoy developing marketing ideas, and be comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept through to execution.
Ideally you'll have:
Experience creating content for social media.
Strong video editing skills.
Photography and videography experience.
Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Experience with Mailchimp or similar EDM platforms.
Basic website content management.
A good understanding of marketing principles and campaign planning.
Experience using AI tools to improve content creation and marketing workflows.
Excellent written communication skills.
Automotive Enthusiasm
A genuine interest in performance cars and automotive culture is highly desirable.
The ideal applicant will enjoy learning about vehicle modifications, motorsport and the enthusiast community, and be able to translate that enthusiasm into engaging content and marketing initiatives.
You'll enjoy being part of a busy workshop setting, working closely with the team, and identifying content opportunities as they happen.
