Position: UI/UX Designer Intern
Business Web Solutions is a leading web design and development company based in Canberra, ACT, Australia. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship.
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced design team and assist in creating cutting-edge and user-friendly websites for our clients. You will gain hands-on experience in all stages of the design process, from concept development to final product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites and web applications
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Assist in creating user personas and user journey maps
- Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet the desired user experience
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design
- Contribute to the overall design strategy and provide creative input for projects
- Assist in creating design assets and maintaining design libraries
- Communicate and present design ideas and concepts to team members and clients
Requirements:




- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work is preferred
