$150 - $180 per hour (inc. super)
The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) requires a Radio Frequency Technologist to work across a variety of disciplines including RF hardware design, software configuration, testing and completing systems engineering documentation and procedures. They will be required to support team members in their required area of expertise and share their knowledge to aid in improving staff understanding.
Key duties and responsibilities:
As directed, undertake the design, integration, testing and documentation of engineering subsystems
Plan, design, manage, execute and report test and test procedures using appropriate testing tools and techniques
Produce technical documentation
Undertake testing and fault finding using electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analysers, spectrum analysers) of RF communications systems and components.
Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures
With guidance, perform design review
