Position Description - National Business Process & Efficiency (Kaizen) Lead

About the role -
This role is not a full time role, it is about assuming a more senior leadership position taking on additional responsibilities as a career development opportunity/ potential pathway to Leadership roles (much like being a President of one of our communities).
This role exists to develop and deliver a Nationally consistent and best practice framework for delivery of business process/ efficiency consulting (sometimes referred to as Kaizen) across all States & territories by our BSM's and some training specialists, ensuring delivery on our promises, in particular 'save you time' and 'keep you safe'.
Key responsibilities (in addition to your core role) include:
National Business Process/ Kaizen framework owner - design & drive a consistent methodology/ approach to facilitating this work for our key businesses
Maintaining and continuously improving the Loan Market Blueprint/ My CRM Way, ensuring it reflects the latest best practices identified through business learnings, and platform enhancements
Ensuring the entire BST team is trained and capable to effectively talk to/ implement the Loan Market Blueprint
Active participation in and the national voice of 'business process/ efficiency consulting' our relevant forums eg:
Learning Leadership group
LM/ Partner Extended Leadership group
Product development working groups
Initiate and drive strategy, innovation & continuous improvement of the way business process/ efficiency consulting is delivered in the network.
Regularly collate feedback/ training needs/ product development feedback that have been identified through workshops and/ or customer feedback and represent these to the Product and design teams.
Participate as requested in pilots for product design and development
Develop and implement a measurement framework to ensure we can quantify the impact/ value created from this work Provide input to the KPIs & measurement framework for BSMs delivering this work (for LM Leadership team approval)
Drive the professional development, capability assessment & uplift for any business process practitioners (ie BSMs and training specialists) - ensuring that anyone who is delivering 'business process/ efficiency workshops is appropriately trained & qualified to do so (min Yellow belt certification + LMG specific training in the agreed National framework)
Build a community and sense of belonging amongst the process consulting practitioners - where best practice and learnings are shared, and all work to lift each other up/ support each other through peak periods/ leave etc.
Coach & review quality control of business process practitioners workshop delivery
Qualifications, skills and and Experience required -
A deep understanding of the finance broking industry along with a passion for technology platforms that enable broker business success
A minimum of 3 years experience in delivering business process/ efficiency consulting and/ or workshops
Leadership experience and advantage but not essential
Lean Six Sigma green belt highly desirable (min yellow belt)
Solid understanding of brokers/ broker businesses and processes to be able to provide practical support
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to present in a clear and concise way at an individual and group level
Critical thinker with cutting-edge problem solving skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrated inclusive, collaborative and engaging approach; including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate and influence with a broad range of people at all levels in a medium sized corporate environment.
