We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join the team at Design Orthodontics in Manning, WA. This is a part‐time position that offers the perfect balance between qualified growth and personal commitments. This position is central to creating a welcoming and efficient environment where patients feel valued and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey.
Key responsibilities
Providing chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures and patient consultations
Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
Recording patient treatment notes and maintaining accurate dental records
Taking intraoral and extraoral radiographs
Taking x-rays (OPG and Lateral Ceph)
Assisting with patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
Managing patient flow to ensure smooth clinic operations
Greeting patients and providing a warm, professional reception experience
Supporting laboratory communication for appliance fabrication and adjustments
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe clinical environment
Responding compassionately to patient concerns
What we're looking for
Qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent recognised dental nursing credential
Experience working in a dental or orthodontic practice
Knowledge of infection control and workplace health and safety




Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
