Job Description
Are you passionate about helping others achieve their career goals? We're excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Job Coach to join our team in Hindmarsh, Australia. As a Job Coach, you'll play a crucial role in guiding and supporting individuals on their journey to sustainable employment.
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to clients, helping them identify their strengths and career aspirations
Develop personalized action plans to enhance clients' job readiness and employability skills
Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback to improve clients' interview performance
Build and maintain relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for clients
Assist clients in creating compelling resumes and cover letters tailored to specific job applications
Organize and facilitate job search workshops and career development seminars
Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful job placements
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes
Collaborate with team members to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the program
Stay informed about local job market trends and employment opportunities to better serve clients
Qualifications
Minimum of one year's experience in customer service or a client-facing role
Demonstrated experience working with individuals overcoming challenges
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
Proficiency in motivating and encouraging clients to achieve their goals
Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
Knowledge of local job market trends and employment opportunities
Comfortable working towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Genuine passion for helping others and connecting people with meaningful employment
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred (but not required)
