Cowra Meat Processors is a leading regional meat processing business committed to quality, innovation and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Administration Officer to join our administration team.
This is a varied role that offers more than just accounts. Alongside managing the accounts payable function, you'll also assist with purchasing, stores administration and livestock purchase processing, making this an ideal chance for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.
About the Role
Working within our administration team, your primary focus will be managing the accounts payable process while providing support across several key business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable.
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving account queries.
Preparing payment runs.
Raising purchase orders and assisting with purchasing requirements.
Managing stores administration and inventory ordering.
Processing livestock purchases and maintaining accurate records.
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
Assisting with general office administration as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Experienced in accounts payable or a similar finance administration role.
Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office and MYOB .
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Reliable, proactive and willing to assist wherever needed.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in accounts, purchasing, inventory or administration within agriculture, manufacturing or food processing industries will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
