We support clients across the mining, municipal, industrial, agricultural and commercial sectors, delivering workshop repairs, field service and engineered pumping solutions throughout Queensland.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters, Plumbers and Pump Technicians to join our Mackay team.
About the Role
This role offers a mix of workshop and field service work, with exposure to a wide variety of projects and equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Pump overhauls, repairs and rebuilds
Mechanical maintenance and fault finding
Installation and commissioning of pumps and pumping systems
Maintenance of water infrastructure and water treatment systems
Pump station and pipeline infrastructure maintenance
Mechanical installations and fabrication
Laser alignment and condition monitoring
Mechanical repairs and general workshop duties
Site breakdown support and field service work
Completing job sheets and service reports
Working safely and maintaining high-quality workmanship
About You
Trade qualified as a:
Mechanical Fitter
Plumber
Experienced Pump Technician
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:




Pump overhauls and repairs
Mechanical maintenance
Water infrastructure and water treatment
Mechanical installations
Mining, industrial or municipal environments
Providing workshop and/or field service support
Fault finding and diagnostics
Essential
Australian work rights
Current Drivers License
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advantageous
Mine site experience
Standard 11
Coal Board Medical
Working at Heights
Confined Space
Forklift License
Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
Poly Welding experience
First Aid / CPR
White Card
Dogging / Rigging
Experience working in water treatment facilities
PLC / Controls experience
