About the company
I'm hiring for a rapid growing Sydney AI consultancy. Their consultants and engineers spend their days running client workshops and building AI projects, and the founder is flat out growing the business.
Behind all of that sits the work every business needs done. Sending invoices, scheduling meetings, booking travel, putting reports together, setting up new employees, organising team events, and helping out with the 100 little things that come up in a week.
Right now the team handles all of that on top of their day jobs, and it pulls them away from the client work they should be doing. That's where you come in. They're looking for a superstar to own all of it. Someone really organised, motivated and hungry, who keeps the place running like clockwork.
They also want whoever takes this to grow with them over time. Do it well and there is a genuine path toward the consulting or engineering side of the business.
The role
You take things off everyone's plate so the team can do what they do best, and the better you do it, the better the company runs. It's the same team assistant role a big consulting firm might advertise, except you'd be doing it inside a fun, fast growing AI startup.
Nothing here needs prior experience. You get shown how all of it works, and you learn how an entire business runs from the inside.

What you could be doing
Running calendars, inboxes, meeting bookings and meeting rooms.
Invoicing, expenses and day to day admin.
Booking travel for client workshops around the country.
Helping pull together proposals, reports and workshop materials.
Getting new employees set up with laptops, tools and access as the team grows.
Keeping projects tidy behind the scenes, tracking notes, follow ups and project boards.
Keeping the office running smoothly, from whiteboard markers to the decorations.
Making the workplace fun, e.g. Tuesday breakfast club.
Pitching in on anything else the team needs a hand with.
What they're looking for
You're interested in startups, AI or consulting.
You're really organised.
You love being helpful and making other people's lives easier.
You'll have a go at things you've never done before.
You communicate well, in person and in writing.
You bring positive, enthusiastic energy.
You're at the start of your working life, whether that's straight out of school, partway through a degree, or holding one and looking for your first role. No experience and no degree needed.

Sydney based, in the office with the team.
Ideally full time, but part time is an option for the right person.
