We are seeking compassionate, reliable and committed House Managers to support Residential Care Workers.
As a House Manager you will:
Model Therapeutic, trauma-informed practice in all interactions with young people.
Mentor and coach staff through regular feedback and reflective practice.
Support the induction and development of new team members.
Foster a positive team culture built on accountability, collaboration and respect.
Identify staff support or performance concerns early and communicate these with the Team Leader.
Work collaboratively with Child Safety, families and other professionals
Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours and crisis situations
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the home to ensure it is safe, organised and welcoming.
Ensure household routines are consistently followed.
Ensure the home is maintained to organisational standards.
Monitor the quality and accuracy of daily case notes and documentation.
Monitor compliance with Sanctuary policies, Child Safety standards and legislative requirements.
Draft and maintain the roster for allocated residential home, with final review and approval by Team Leader.
Participate in the organisations on call roster.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
Hold, be enrolled in, or be willing to enrol in a Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Community Services or equivalent qualification
Hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Hold a current National Police Check
Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
Hold a current Driver's Licence
Have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel
Hold comprehensive car insurance
Have a smartphone with internet access
