About The Role
As a Support Worker provide assistance and support to children, young people and their families subject to intervention under the Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act **** enabling children to grow up in a safe and supportive environment, by providing transport, cultural support, disability support, medical support, and supervision over family time visits.
We are offering Permanent opportunity with an ASAP start. Full-time work, 76 hours per fortnight. Four (4) weeks accrued recreation leave + recreation leave loading + accrued sick/carers leave.

Requirements
Essential Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – EmploymentCurrent.
Driver's Licence.
Pre-employment Checks
Conviction Checks – In The Following Areas: crimes of violence, sex related offences, serious drug offences, crimes involving dishonesty, serious traffic offences.
Identification check.
Disciplinary actions in previous employment check.
Desirable
A relevant Vocational Education and Training Qualification from the Community, Health, Education and Care Sector training area.
First Aid Certificate.
