About us!
Beachwood Early Learning and Kindergarten is a family owned and operated centre. We have created something unique for our community and are looking for passionate early childhood Teachers and Educators who want to join us in something truly special!
Having opened in January ****, our 100 place purpose built centre is open from 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Beachwood boasts 6 rooms catering for children from 6 weeks to 5 years and includes both a 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten program. Our rooms are light and bright with room sizes ranging from a beautiful 12 place nursery through to two 22 place Kindergarten rooms.
We are passionate about providing our community with an exceptional service that not only provides excellent educational programs but unites with families in caring for their children.
We adopt a play based approach to learning with authentic learning experiences.
Our beautiful location is surrounded by nature in the Woodlands area on Humphries Road. Our play based and community focused curriculum means that children will be supported to experience their local community through participation in excursions and incursions. Our Kindergarten program includes a Bush program delivered by our Early Childhood Teachers.
About the role!
Due to increased enrolments within our Kindergarten programs, we are recruiting experienced, passionate and inspiring Early Childhood Teachers to join our kindergarten teams in full time and part time positions. The role will be performed alongside another equally passionate mentor Early Childhood Teacher in our 3 or 4 year old Kindergarten community.
You will be an inspiring leader who supports your team to create warm and inclusive environments for children. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about their role working with young children and who put enthusiasm into play and intentional teaching moments. You will have a strong desire to build trusting and nurturing relationships with the children and collaborative,



professional relationships with families and communities.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a quality child focused kindergarten program, coordinating the beach and bush kindergarten programs and embracing sustainable practices within a holistic and natural environment.

Skills and experience




Be a team player, our team are cohesive and support one another!
Be reliable, positive and have excellent time management skills.
Support an environment that fosters the children's well-being and a sense of belonging.
Practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Experience completing TLDS.
Experience and a keen interest in developing beach/bush kindergarten programs an advantage.
Build robust rapport with local schools that support children's transition into school life.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work autonomously and part as a team.
Hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Years) or equivalent.
Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma/Anaphylaxis /CPR certificates.
Current Working with Children Check and VIT
