About the job:
For our growing Finance division in Springvale, Australia at the earliest possible date we are looking for a:
Graduate Accountant.
Reporting to the Assistant Accountant your mission will be to assist the Junior Accountant and Assistant Accountant to support the day-to-day finance operations, as well as assisting in internal and external reporting requirements.
What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?
Maintaining the day-to-day recordkeeping of accounts payable and receivable transactions
Prepare accounts payable pay runs twice a month according to payment deadlines
Manage employee expense reimbursement claims
Assist with reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Support the finance team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support the finance team in external and internal audit
Provide general administrative support to the finance department
What we ask for:
Degree/diploma in a finance related field (commerce, finance or accounting) essential
1-2 years' of professional experience working in a finance department preferred, but not essential




Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in MS Office. Experience in Oracle preferred but not essential
Proactive and positive communication with colleagues and customers
