We are looking to employ a
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
searching for a role they can sink their teeth into
and make their own. Our fleet of machines includes Loaders, Excavators, Bobcats, Prime movers, smaller trucks and trailers. We are seeking a dedicated individual who can take charge, prioritize, be proactive and help implement and manage a quality maintenance program to keep our fleet running to the high performance we require. The position comes with fully maintained company vehicle, tablet computer, and administrative assistance to assist you in creating an effective and organized system.
The Role includes but is not limited to:
Diagnostics and repairs to various plant, fleet and mechanical equipment in workshop and to attend breakdowns of equipment on site.
Ability to manage and carry out maintenance and repair to a number of vehicles and machines on schedule.
Ability to source and arrange parts, outside mechanics and contractors to carry out repairs.
Basic ability to fabricate/weld is highly desired.
Ability to use initiative and work proactively to ensure maintenance completed efficiently.




Punctual, reliable and dedicated approach to work.
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Maintaining accurate records and paperwork for service and repair reports
Monday to Friday with some Saturdays as required, approx. 10-hour days.
To be Successful you must possess:
Your own toolkit
Qualified H/D Mechanic and mechanically minded with Hydraulics experience
Previous experience on Komatsu, Sumitomo, front end loaders, Volvo trucks and light vehicles
HR/HC Truck Licence preferred
A current White card
You must have a current driver's licence and reliable transport
You must have current rights to work in Australia
