Job Description
Are you an experienced
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (QHSE) professional
looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact? BEUMER Group Australia is seeking a dedicated QHSE Manager to oversee and drive safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, maintain, and enforce the
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Plan
on-site.
Ensure all
subcontractors and personnel
comply with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
Develop and coordinate
HSE training programs
for BEUMER Group employees and subcontractors.
Conduct
risk assessments
and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
Lead
incident investigations
, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with reporting procedures.
Oversee
site safety inspections
, emergency preparedness, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
Support
internal and external audits
and maintain certification requirements (e.g., ISO **********).
Collaborate with project teams and attend
weekly coordination meetings




to ensure alignment on safety objectives.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications
in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in
HSE roles on large-scale industrial or EPC projects
.
Strong knowledge of
Australian occupational health and safety regulations
(Occupational Health and Safety Act **** & OHS Regulations ****).
Experience in
Baggage Handling Systems
or related engineering/construction environments is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence safety culture.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A
continuous improvement mindset
, with the ability to identify and implement
process enhancements
to improve HSEQ performance.
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
