We are seeking a highly motivated
Causal- Store Person
to join our welcoming team providing the highest quality service for our guests at our Adelaide Domestic Lounges. Opportunity to go part-time when our brand new & exciting business lounge opening mid May!
Job Description
Manage inventory documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping for all goods entering and leaving the stores
Receive and store goods according to purchase orders and specifications, maintaining proper storage conditions
Coordinate and perform monthly stock takes, producing reports on usage and stock on hand
Maintain and update the Inventory System, including periodic review of stock levels
Initiate purchase requisitions following department policies and procedures
Distribute goods promptly to sub-stores or user departments
Ensure cleanliness, neat arrangement, and security of all storage areas
Process authorised returns to suppliers
Adhere to purchasing procedures as detailed in the department's policies and procedures manual




Provide valuable support to our kitchen and kitchen hand team, including various tasks such as basic food preparation, grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings
Assisting when required in maintaining impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment, using both commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role is beneficial
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items
Understanding of safety and airport security protocols
Ability to lift heavy items continuously ******kg)
Must have full working rights in Australia
Communication skills to speak with suppliers and managers
Must be able to work a 7-day rotating roaster
Physical Requirements
:
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25kg continuously
Standing and walking for extended periods
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role is beneficial
