One of Australia's largest distributors of professional quality tools and equipment to the hardware, automotive, industrial and retail markets is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor. This iconic business boasts consistent growth year on year and a reputation as an innovator in its industry.
Monday to Friday - 9.30am until 6pm with occasional overtime.
Main Duties:
Supervising the day-to-day shift operations
Supervising a team
Responsible for maintaining a safe working workplace
The position is a hands-on role so you will be working with staff across all operational activities.
Releasing and coordinating workflow
Ensuring that receipting, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, despatch, and kit assembly are completed within agreed timeframes.
Implement any instructions or directions from Warehouse Manager to the warehouse staff.
Day-to-day freight/carrier management
Assist with training of warehouse staff, or any other staff requiring training.




Some ad hoc Saturday shifts may be required.
RF Scanning/Forklift driving when needed.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
LF (Forklift) and LO (Order Picker) licences are preferred.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
The ability to multi-task and work with/manage a team
Experience with MS Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
Experience with WMS systems (ideally Pronto)
Attention to detail
Solid understanding of warehouse operations
