AAP is a market leader in the distribution of high quality pipe fittings and valves, servicing both plumbing, irrigation, engineering, fire, mining and petro chemicals industries.
An chance exists for a suitably qualified Internal Sales / Customer Service person to commence in the new year.

This position requires an individual that appreciates the competitive nature of the industry, who has excellent organisation, time management , and communication skills and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
Provide technical information to customers
Assist with sales support tasks, including quoting and order tracking
Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system
Servicing customer inquiries by providing relevant information such as stock availability, order status, and delivery details as requested
Review outstanding order reports,



ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered on time efficiently
Advise customers of new products and alternative products
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure seamless customer service.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in a customer service or internal sales role is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude
Experience with CRM software is a plus.
Consultative selling skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers
