ANMEC (Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre) is a successful RTO which delivers uniquely health and social care qualifications. ANMEC is a service of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch).
We are currently experiencing a period of expansion and are looking to employ health care professionals who are committed to student learning and can adapt to innovation and change. We are specifically looking for educators are interested in working in our VET in schools' program or to deliver a Diploma of Nursing qualifications.
About the Role:
Reporting to one of our experienced Course Managers you will work closely with our friendly, dedicated ANMEC Educators. This role will contribute to the development, delivery and assessment of recognised qualifications / training programs provided by ANMEC. You will be responsible for contribution and compliance with relevant standards, policies and procedures that relate to recognised education and training.
We are a specialised health and aged care/disability education centre teaching currently have vacancies in the following areas:
Certificate III Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability)
Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance
Diploma of Nursing
Medication Management
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
We are seeking applications from experienced and dedicated healthcare professionals/educators with a passion for teaching others and supporting the future healthcare workforce.
About You
The Educator is a Registered/Enrolled Nurse (or an Allied Health Professional) who provides education and assessment to students or course/session participants.



The technical qualifications required vary depending upon the area and clinical specialty.
To be considered for the position you will need to meet the following criteria:
Hold a Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent and hold a current practicing certificate as a Registered nurse (unlimited registration with AHPRA) or other relevant qualification
A current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE*****) or working towards
Have an understanding of and commitment to the delivery of education within the accredited training environment
Displays a student-centred approach to supporting and facilitating ANMEC students to attain their educational aims
Maintains current knowledge of the VET sector including standards, regulatory systems, training packages and statutory obligations
Understands and has the capacity to use and develop the use of relevant technology to assist in the delivery of education and training
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, contributing to a positive team environment
Hold or be willing to obtain a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC).
It is also important to note that we run an extensive VET in Schools program so an interest/experience in working with school students in Years ******* would also be looked upon favourably.

The Educator position is classified in the RN 1-3 range in accordance with the ANMF (SA Branch) Employees Agreement. An attractive salary package including negotiable flexible working arrangements is available for the right candidate and will be based on qualifications, experience and skills.
