Gastronomy is seeking an experienced Head Barista / Corporate Waiter to provide high level customer service at our client's corporate premises.
THE PERSON
We are looking for a hospitality professional who thrives on creating beautiful experiences and exceeding customer expectations. You will have a high standard of personal presentation with a strong work ethic and a flexible, efficient approach.
You will be proactive, have excellent time management skills, the ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple things at once – always with a smile.
You will have a welcoming personality, understand the importance of being discreet with the ability to keep calm under pressure whilst ensuring corporate standards are upheld.
The ability to make barista style coffee is a must.
Previous leadership skills essential.
THE POSITION
This position is Full Time, Monday to Friday, predominantly working both days shifts with availability for evening events when required. This is a hands-on role that involves building client and customer relationships.
Duties will involve making barista style coffee, setting up meeting rooms and the daily service of teas and coffee to the meeting room floor.

MINIMUM criteria to apply.
2 + experience in corporate hospitality, 2 hat restaurant, premium catering or hotel
4+ years Barista experience
Current RSA certification
Previous use of point of sale software
Previous experience leading 1-2 staff members
Advanced level of verbal communication skills
Demonstrated previous experience with critical analysis situations and proactive problem solving
Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
Experience in communication with both skilled and unskilled staff
WH&S; awareness
