About the role
Join the dynamic team at Boss Private Clients' as a Bookkeeper. This full-time role is based in the heart of Melbourne CBD and Inner Suburbs, Victoria. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable support to our growing client base.
What you'll be doing
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented
Prepare and submit business activity statements and other tax-related documents
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implementation of best practices
Liaise with clients to address any queries or concerns related to their financial records
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small practice or professional services environment
Strong proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting requirements




Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business Administration is highly desirable
