Established in ****, S.J. Electric is a long-standing provider of electrical services across Queensland. We serve a diverse range of sectors including industrial, supermarket, retail, and construction, delivering top-class solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Starting in January ****, we will be seeking a full-time project / service electrician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the service field, as well as some project and installation experience. We are looking for a reliable electrician who will work extensively in the supermarket sector. The position is Brisbane based, but some travel is occasionally required, as well as some overtime and weekends if necessary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:




To comply with all relevant OH&S; legislation and follow building-specific procedures/policy and safety guidelines
Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, apparatus, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes/standards
Manage general repair and maintenance of base building and tenancy areas as required and to schedule
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis
Management of consumables
To keep organised accounts of tasks performed throughout the day
To carry out other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job
Ability to work overtime/weekends if required
Key Licenses/skills/status:
Current Queensland electrical licence
Current manual drivers licence
Current OHS induction card (white card)
Current CPR/LVR certificate advantageous
Australian permanent resident
Computer / mobile device literate
Punctuality
Excellent communication and presentation
Prior experience in one of the following fields:
Service and maintenance works
Project / installation works
If successful, the applicant will be supplied with a company car, phone, and uniforms. We offer an exceptional hourly rate, which can be negotiated based on experience and suitability for the role.
