About the Role
NLR Restoration is seeking a dedicated and highly experienced
Senior Restoration Technician
to join our dynamic team in Murarrie, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and managing large-scale property restoration projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your technical expertise will drive successful outcomes, while your leadership and mentoring will help guide and inspire our restoration crews. As a key team member, you will take on the responsibility of troubleshooting complex restoration issues, developing strategic restoration plans, and executing them with precision.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading the Team:
Oversee and coordinate restoration work, guiding junior technicians to meet the highest quality standards.
Scope Writing:
Prepare detailed scopes of work that clearly outline project requirements, ensuring accuracy and clarity for all stakeholders.
Communicating Effectively:
Work closely with builders, property managers, and clients to deliver clear updates, manage expectations, and build strong relationships.
Solving Complex Problems:
Diagnose and troubleshoot challenging restoration issues, offering on-site expertise.
Strategising for Success:
Develop and implement restoration plans and workflows to enhance efficiency.
Sharing Knowledge:
Train and mentor team members, transferring your wealth of experience and technical skills.
Collaborating Effectively:
Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Documenting Thoroughly:
Maintain detailed records of restoration activities.
Upholding Standards:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
What We're Looking For




Extensive Experience:
At least 7 years as a Restoration Technician in construction or property services.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of restoration methodologies, equipment, and best practices.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Scope Writing:
Proficiency in creating comprehensive and accurate scopes of work.
Interpersonal Skills:
A natural communicator who can collaborate effectively with builders, property managers, and clients.
Tech-Savviness:
Proficiency with restoration software, damage assessment, and project management tools.
Organised and Detail-Oriented:
A commitment to delivering meticulous, high-quality work.
Adaptability:
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Certifications Required:
Blue Card
White Card
IICRC Certification in Mould, Water, and Fire restoration
Driving Licence:
A current licence with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
